Beauty, passion, wit and drama converge in the stunning Spring Program performances of the Bay Area’s Company C Contemporary Ballet. Audiences will be treated to the Bay Area premiere of Twyla Tharp’s thrilling Surfer at the River Styx, Val Caniparoli’s buoyantly retro Boink!,a newly expanded work from the Artistic Director, and former New York City Ballet dancer, Charles Anderson, set to the silky sounds of jazz legend Chet Baker.
