20th Anniversary Performance

As Ensambles comes upon its 20th anniversary this November, our enthusiasm is stronger than ever in preparing to honor the longevity and dedication of this talented Bay Area dance company. This year’s program is intended not only to celebrate 20 years of Mexican Dance, but also to bring to life Artistic Director Zenon Barron's, vision of two iconic Mexican artists, Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo. As we bring these paintings to life, we aim to keep the legacy of Frida and Diego alive through dance and music. This year’s work brings together three of the Bay area’s finest traditional musical groups Vinic-Kay (La Gente y el Canto), Cascada De Flores and Los Compas. Having all these wonderful and gifted musicians and dancers on stage will certainly be a one of a kind performance.
