"Tango x 3" -is the second event of the "A Tango Trilogy" series. 4 shows in 3 days featuring an extraordinary three piano trio comprised for three world class pianists: Uruguay's Polly Ferman: 2-time Grammy nominee from the Eroica Trio, Erika Nickrenz: and 2-time Latin Grammy nominee from Brazil, Jovino Santos Neto. This program will feature a sensuous combination of beautiful tangos Argentina and Uruguay with the pulsating jazz rhythms of Brazil. It will also mark the debut of two new pieces of music written specifically for three pianos and will be debuted with this program: one, "Tres Sinas" by Neto and the other "Golden Gate Fantasy" by Daniel Binelli. Also featured in the program will be 2-3piece suites for piano duet by Pablo Ziegler

All performances are at the San Francisco Palace of Fine Arts. Ample free parking is available. All net proceeds go toward funding the San Francisco Breast Cancer Emergency Fund.

KALW Presents An Evening with David Sedaris

David Sedaris, author of the bestsellers Naked, Me Talk Pretty One Day, and Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, and National Public Radio contributor will be appearing for one night only at the War Memorial Opera House on October 27th. Following the much anticipated release of his brand new collection entitled �When You Are Engulfed in Flames�; David will visit San Francisco for an evening of engaging recollections and readings.
