Pacific Edge Voices is unique among Bay Area vocal ensembles for presenting an annual set of a cappella jazz and pop concerts every June—and has done so since its founding in 1980.
Bay Area native Deke Sharon, who emcees the show, is the much-acclaimed “father of contemporary a cappella,” who was the music director for the Pitch Perfect movies and NBC’s Sing-Off competition.
This all-ages concert truly has something for everyone!

About Pacific Edge Voices:
Known as the Bay Area's "uncommon chorus," and founded in Berkeley in 1980, PEV is currently led by Dr. Nicolás Dosman. PEV's rich musical history has included artistic collaborations with composers and artists John Adams, Dave Brubeck, David Lang, Bobby McFerrin, Meredith Monk, Deke Sharon, Sufjan Stevens, Sweet Honey in the Rock, American Bach Soloists, Berkeley Symphony Orchestra, Coro Nacional de Cuba, Oakland Symphony, among others. The ensemble was nominated for a "Best Choral Performance" Grammy® Award in 2006 for the Harmonia Mundi recording of Bernstein's Mass with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester, Kent Nagano conducting. PEV has toured internationally and debuted at Carnegie Hall in 2005, representing choral music for Meredith Monk’s 40th Anniversary Celebration.
