Hosted by Porchlight’s Arline Klatte and Beth Lisick, with book sales and signing to follow.

The San Francisco Contemporary Music Players’ 40th anniversary season pays homage to the ensemble’s diverse and notable history while at the same time looking to the future. Three subscription concerts at Herbst Theatre, and three Contemporary Insights: Music and Conversation events at the ODC Dance Commons will feature important composers of the last century – such as John Cage, Philip Glass, György Ligeti, Salvatore Scarrino, and Terry Riley – alongside new and recent works from emerging composers like Du Yun, Ronald Bruce Smith, and Jérôme Combier.
