Lisa Geduldig, the producer of this monthly comedy series, is a San Francisco-based comedian and comedy producer most known for Kung Pao Kosher Comedy™ — Jewish Comedy on Christmas in a Chinese Restaurant, which celebrates its 34th year this coming December (in-person AND virtually). Before the pandemic, Lisa ran the monthly Comedy Returns to El Rio, a decade-long comedy show at El Rio in San Francisco’s Mission District where her comedy career began over 35 years ago. To keep people entertained and to provide comedians with work during the pandemic, Lisa produced the monthly Lockdown Comedy on Zoom from 2020 to 2024, largely from her mother’s retirement community home in Florida. Her (now late) mother, Arline, who discovered doing comedy at 89 years old, was a monthly guest.
