Staying sane in current times means taking time to experience joy and laughter. The shows also raise awareness and funds for organizations doing life-saving work. Each month, partial proceeds have benefited a different organization (ACLU, Marin-SF Food Bank…).
Partial proceeds from the September show benefits Mujeres Unidas y Activas, which strengthens Latina immigrant women and activism in defense of immigrant rights and social justice. Mujeres Unidas has helped 100s of women get out of situations of domestic violence, become strong leaders, and take an active role in the movement for immigrant rights and social justice.

Will Durst, one of the premier political satirists in the country, has patched together a comedy quilt of a career, weaving together columns, books, radio and TV commentaries, acting, voice overs and most especially, stand up comedy, into a hilarious patchwork of outraged and outrageous common sense. The New York Times calls him "possibly the best political comic in the country." His scribblings have appeared in Esquire, George, the San Francisco Chronicle, National Lampoon, The New York Times and scads of other periodicals. He’s a 5-time Emmy nominee; has been fired by PBS three times; told jokes in 14 countries; racked up 7 nominations for Stand-Up of the Year; and his 800+ TV appearances include Letterman, HBO, Showtime, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox News, the BBC and many more. Will’s performances are made possible by the 1st Amendment to the Constitution of the United States. 
Diane Amos is a San Francisco-based actress, improv artist, and comedian who is known as The Pine Sol Lady for having starred in their national commercials for over 20 years. She has appeared in numerous films including Nine Months, Copycat, Angels in the Outfield, EDTV, Twisted, and Woody Allen’s Blue Jasmine. Diane was a semi-finalist in Star Search, has been on A&E's Evening at The Improv, Lifetime's Girls' Night Out, and Comedy Central's Women Aloud. She has also been a winner on the game shows: Wheel of Fortune, $25,000 Pyramid, and Super Password. She was raised in San Francisco by two lesbian mothers and attended Washington High School in the Richmond District, where she took an improvisational comedy class.
Dhaya Lakshminarayanan is a stand up comedian, storyteller, and writer. Her comedy album DHAYATRIBE debuted #2 on iTunes. She received the Liz Carpenter Political Humor Award (previously awarded to Samantha Bee, Wanda Sykes and Mark Russell) for her stand up. Comedy Central Asia crowned her the Grand Prize Winner of “The Ultimate Comedy Challenge” filmed in Singapore. She has performed across Asia in Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore and has also been invited to perform at some of the top festivals in the US including Bridgetown Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest, The Boston Comedy Festival, Limestone Comedy Festival, and Laugh Your Asheville Off. As a TV host, Dhaya helmed the inaugural season of the Emmy award-winning series “High School Quiz Show”on PBS’s WGBH. She is a frequent comedic storyteller on NPR’s Snap Judgment. She currently serves as the host of San Francisco’s monthly Moth. In her former life, Dhaya was a venture capitalist, management consultant, and two-time MIT graduate. 
Lisa Geduldig, the producer of this monthly comedy series, is a San Francisco-based comedian and comedy producer most known for Kung Pao Kosher Comedy™ — Jewish Comedy on Christmas in a Chinese Restaurant, which celebrates its 33rd year this December (in-person AND virtually). Before the pandemic, Lisa ran the monthly Comedy Returns to El Rio, a decade-long comedy show at El Rio where her comedy career began over 35 years ago. To keep people entertained during the pandemic and to provide comedians with work, Lisa produced the monthly Lockdown Comedy on Zoom from 2020 to 2024, largely from her mother’s retirement community home in Florida. Her (now late) mother, Arline, was a monthly guest and discovered doing comedy at 89 years old.
