Be a Part of Something Memorable
When we attend a live performance, we become part of something that is greater than ourselves. It deepens when we bring family and friends, and even when we simply tell others about a great performance or artist. This arc of sharing and belonging celebrates the familiar and embraces moments of surprise. It lights a spark of wonder and curiosity about the next work, the next concert, and the next generation of artists.
It all happens because we are there, together, in the moment. American author Amor Towles captures the feeling of this collective experience and the "aha!" moment of coming together when the lights go down and the curtain goes up: "...We were not simply applauding this virtuoso, or the composition, or Bach. We were applauding one another. Applauding the joy which we had shared and which had become the fuller through the sharing."
Our 2025–26 season presents many opportunities to come together to participate in the creation and realization of great music and memorable moments. Among the highlights: we introduce the acclaimed Esmé Quartet as Ensemble-in-Residence for our popular Saturday Morning series, and celebrate SF Performances' Music Historian-in-Residence Robert Greenberg in his 25th season.
We welcome performers who enjoy decades-long adventures at the top of their art and present the debuts of musicians who captivate the imagination and inspire audiences to look forward to the next note and the next performance.
You are the essential part of making it memorable. Join us and take your seats for a season of relationships and the chance to applaud the artists ourselves, as Amor Towles writes, "for the joy we experience together and share."
