LINES Ballet’s fall season offers a rare chance to witness both the stage and cinematic expressions of Alonzo King’s singular artistic vision. In September, we return to Yerba Buena Center for the Arts with Deep River, Alonzo King’s internationally acclaimed masterpiece that has thrilled audiences around the world. Then, in November, join us at SFMOMA for an exclusive screening of ORIGINS, Drea Cooper’s stunning film born alongside Deep River.

Filmed in spectacular settings from the Arizona desert to the galleries of SFMOMA, ORIGINS offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the company’s creative process. More than a documentary, ORIGINS is a poetic meditation on life, love, and the inspiring power of movement.
