In 2026, the landmark project "Campus Folk Songs: 50 Years — Reuniting Across the Ocean" will launch its U.S. concert tour.
Since the rise of the Taiwanese folk song movement in 1975, artists including Wu Chuchu, Chang Ming-chi, Hou De-chien, Lee Chien-fu, Cheng Yi, Pan Yueh-yun, Hu De-fu, Yin Cheng-yang, Yeh Chia-hsiu, Chao Yung-hua, and Chou Chih-ping have ushered Chinese-language popular music into a new era.
Fifty years later, what was once youth has become classic. This U.S. tour may mark one of the final occasions for several iconic folk singers to reunite on the same stage, carrying profound historical and emotional significance.
The tour will visit major U.S. cities including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose and Houston.
