About the San Francisco Korean Master Chorale:
Mission: To promote Musical and Inter-Cultural Activities through music in Whole Bay Area and Korean community with non-denominational nature.
Organization: Established in 1989 with 25 members as a not-for-profit organization, normally up to 75 members, and will perform with 140 Choir members on August 16, 2026.
Performed with 135 choir members at Louise M. Davies Symphony in 2003.
Performed annually at San Mateo Civic Cener in June and October.
In addition, the SFKMC performed for Oakland Outdoor Mission for Homeless, Salinas Prison, Monterey, Sacramento, Fresno and other places for community and cultural causes.
Paid Resident conductor, Hyun Kim, pianist, Ajung Won, and 10 more professional choir members.
Provide choir services with minimal burden, many low and free ticket prices to reach many communities.
As of now, SFKMC relies on sponsors, supporters with cause and patrons for its financial needs.
